Please follow the following procedures to apply in person at the visa centre.

Prepare all required documents and material after reading the visa instructions

Double check and confirm all the required documentation is complete before traveling to the visa centre.

  • Obtain a queue number upon arrival at the centre
  • When your number is called, go to the relevant desk
  • Hand over your application and make the payment (a 3% service charge will be applied for all cards other than UK debit cards)

  • Return to the centre on the collection day
  • Ensure you bring your receipt
  • Before you leave the centre, please ensure that all the information on the visa is correct

Visa Centre - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

The Azerbaijani Visa Centre is a service provided by Visa Service Centre Limited ("VSC"), incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 7509587 whose registered office is at 42 Manchester Street, London W1U 7LW, United Kingdom.

VSC is authorized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland ("the Embassy") to operate the Azerbaijani Visa Centre in the United Kingdom.

Terms and Conditions

All use of the services of the Azerbaijani Visa Centre (including without limitation any website or other medium through which such services are provided), all visa applications and/or enquiries regarding Azerbaijani visas or related matters is subject to these Terms and Conditions of Use.

By accessing or using the services of the Azerbaijani Visa Centre , you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use as they may be varied by us from time to time. If you do not agree to one or more of these Terms and Conditions of Use you should not use the services of the Azerbaijani Visa Centre .

The Visa Processing Service

VSC will receive visa applications for travel to Azerbaijan and related visa fees on behalf of the Embassy and then submit applications to the Embassy in London for assessment.

VSC will process all visa applications with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with such procedures as are prescribed by the Embassy. Whilst VSC will use reasonable care to check visa application forms for obvious errors, VSC does not undertake to verify any information included in visa application forms or any supporting documents. All visa applicants are responsible for the accuracy of their visa application forms and must carefully consider the requirements set out in the visa application forms and complete all application forms fully and truthfully and provide correct and accurate information and documentation in support of their visa application, including a valid and undamaged passport, photograph and any other supporting documentation as may be required by the Embassy.

The assessment and determination of all visa applications is undertaken by the Embassy, which may grant or refuse any applications or impose conditions on the grant or refusal of any applications in its sole discretion. The Embassy reserves the right to ask for further documentation and information and/or to require applicants to attend for interview in relation to any visa application and you are responsible for providing such further documents and information and/or for attending such interviews as may be requested by the Embassy.

All visa applicants must provide VSC with valid and up-to-date contact details so that they can be contacted quickly in the event that any issue arises with the visa application or additional documentation is required. VSC cannot accept any responsibility for delays to or rejection of visa applications if valid and up-to-date contact details are not provided to VSC.

Any indications given to applicants regarding processing times for visas are estimates only and are subject to the procedures and timescales of the Embassy, in relation to which VSC has no control.

Following determination of visa applications by the Embassy, VSC will collect the processed passports from the Embassy and return them to applicants. Visa applicants must check the validity of the visa issued immediately on collection or receipt of the processed passport(s), to ensure that it covers the period of stay requested, the number or entries required, and that it is valid for the purpose of the intended visit to Azerbaijan. You will be responsible for any consequences arising where you fail to check all the information printed on your visa and a minimum of 72 hours notice will be required for any rectification of or changes to any visa issued by the Embassy. You should therefore ensure that your visa application is made in sufficient time before your intended travel date to allow for such rectification or changes if required and if you have any queries about the visa issued, you should notify VSC immediately.

Fees

Fees for processing of visa applications are valid only as at the time that they are advised to applicants and may change where an application is made at a later date. The procedures and fees for the processing of visas and related services are prescribed by the Embassy and are subject to change by the Embassy without prior notice.

All costs of returning passports, visas and supporting documents to you are based on the delivery methods chosen by you.

All fees must be received in full before the visa application will be processed and are not refundable except where specifically covered by our Refund Policy below, whether or not a visa is ultimately granted.

Cancellation Rights and Refund Policy

VSC may commence processing your application and providing any visa processing services immediately upon receipt of your visa application and you will not have any right to cancel under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 once we start providing the services. In the event that you do wish to cancel any visa application after it is submitted, this must be done by notice to VSC in writing. Following such cancellation, VSC will use its reasonable endeavours to retrieve your passport and any supporting documentation submitted with your visa application within 72 hours but no refund or credit of any fees will be made or allowed and no visa will be granted.

Refunds of visa application fees will be made only where VSC is in breach of contract or negligent in relation to any visa application submitted to VSC and where that results directly in the visa not being granted or loss of applicant’s passport or supporting documents. Where the applicant's submitted passport or supporting documents are lost due to VSC’s breach of contract or negligence, VSC will also pay to the applicant the amount of the fees for the replacement of the lost passport or other documents charged by the government of the applicant's home country, through their normal replacement procedure, and VSC will provide the applicant with reasonable assistance in obtaining such replacements. Such payments will be made by VSC to the applicant only upon provision to VSC of an appropriate payment receipt issued by the relevant government for the replacement of such lost passport or supporting documents.

Liability

Except as expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions of Use and to the extent permitted by law neither VSC nor any of its staff or other representatives will be liable for damages, losses or costs resulting from or in connection with any visa applications, including (without limitation) liability for:

  1. any default, negligence, delay or failure of VSC in advising on, providing information on, handling or processing visa applications;
  2. any delay to visa applications or loss of passports and other documents;
  3. any rejection of visa applications by the Embassy;
  4. any delays, or for loss of or damage to any visa application, passport or other documents, caused by or occurring whilst any application, passport or document is in the possession of the Embassy or any third party postal or courier service;
  5. any commitment, cost or expenditure incurred by applicants in advance of and in reliance on receiving a visa, either within a particular timescale or at all (including without limitation any arrangements for air travel, hotel and ancillary arrangements that cannot be cancelled or re-arranged without additional costs).

The above disclaimer applies in respect of liability to any visa applicant, or any other person relying on or benefiting from any visa application, for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages or damages for loss of data, income or profit or claims from third parties or any other damages whatsoever due to delay, misplacement, loss or damage of applications, passports and other documents, or due to negligence or breach of contract in connection with any visa application or any advice or information given in relation to any visa application.

VSC does not exclude or limit its liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence or the negligence of our staff or others for whom we may be responsible in law or for fraudulent misrepresentation or other liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

General

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions of Use shall benefit or be enforceable by any person other than the visa applicant, and the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply.

VSC, in its sole discretion, may change, amend, cancel or withdraw any or all of these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time without requirement for prior notice.

These Terms and Conditions of Use and any visa applications made pursuant to them shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any claims or disputes arising in relation to the services provided by VSC to the applicant shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
