When you apply for a visa you will be required to complete the application form on this website.

One recent passport size (35mm x 45mm) colour photograph - taken against white background. Please do not use stapler when attaching the photograph to the application. Photos must be clear and of good quality

Your passport must be valid for at least three months after the expiry date of the requested Azerbaijani visa.

You will need one of the following invitation types: (a good quality copy is acceptable)

• Tourist (ordinary) - Tourist invitations should be on the letterhead of the host company/organisation/hotel in Azerbaijan stamped, dated and signed by an authorised individual. 
• Tourist (with special tourist voucher) – Tourist voucher, and a letter from travel agency issuing tourist voucher, on their letterhead stamped, dated and signed by an authorised individual. Download sample tourist with tourist voucher letter of invitation.
• Business – Invitation from Azerbaijani Company, Invitation from foreign company based in Azerbaijan on the letterhead of the host company/organisation in Azerbaijan stamped, dated and signed by an authorised individual. Download sample business letter of invitation.

• Family Member(Business) – Invitation from Azerbaijani Company, Invitation from foreign company based in Azerbaijan on the letterhead of the host company/organisation in Azerbaijan stamped, dated and signed by an authorised individual. Download sample family member letter of invitation.

• If express service chosen - Telex invitation letter from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is required.
• If multiple entry visa chosen - Telex invitation letter from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is required.
• Private - Invitation from an Azerbaijani citizen - Required for a Private visa. Must be accompanied by a photocopy of his/her passport (pages 2-5) or national identification card (both sides). Download sample private letter of invitation.
• All invitations must be no older than one month

Holders of EU member state and EEA (European Economic Area) passports that are resident in UK, Ireland, Iceland, Denmark (except citizens of UK, Ireland, Iceland and Denmark) must provide a good quality copy of at least two of the following documents (no older than 3 months) to prove their residency:

• Recent utility bill
• Recent bank statement
• Recent credit card statement
• Mobile phone bill / contract
• Letter from the NHS
